Have always enjoyed nature and making things. Starting doing mosaics when my youngest grandson wanted to make some stepping stones for his butterfly garden. I initially just went on-line and learned quickly how to mosaic. I soon realized I wanted to start creating art and I could make things more interesting and recycle a lot of material. Yes, I could just make stepping stones, but why not mosaic an old tree stump, make my mailbox prettier, recycle whiskey & wine bottles, and use a vast array of colorful and beautiful materials. Since retiring and moving to TN in 2015, I have taken several classes at the Rose Center in drawing and painting, then took a few classes in painting & pottery at Walter State Community College. Our beautiful surrounding and all the wildlife has been a great inspiration to me while creating things I enjoy in my home and yard, and sharing with others.
